Executive Summary
It is my belief that the Executive Summary is the location in the business plan that will identify if an investor is interested or not. It is therefore incumbent upon me to write the most compelling Executive Summary I can, and in a sense, hopefully prove my own theory. I have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that 2 virtually untapped mass market niches exist in the world today:
1) "How to" computer upgrade manuals which show an end-user how to optimize and secure their own PC.
2) Actual computer hardware upgrades.

This Executive Summary will lead you step-by-step through my formulae, plans, and hard evidence to prove my case. I hope that I am successful in doing so, after all, I want you to invest money in my business.
The first thing that I must convince you (my audience) of, is that my ideas are sound. Let's look at them one at a time.

'How to' Computer Manuals
Suppose that a TV commercial came on the air, advertising "A manual for $20 GUARANTEEING that by going through the manual step-by-step, you can make your computer faster, more reliable, and fully secure." What's the catch? For one, going through each manual would take about 30 minutes of your time. Second, you could not be a beginner, you'd have to have some computer savvy under your belt. Would you buy it? If the answer is 'yes' read on. I have written 2 simple-to-use manuals which will guide the user step-by-step through their computer optimization. These manuals have been exhaustively proof-read for accuracy and ease-of-use. I have now, MANY testimonials from my clients who will attest that after using the techniques outlined in this book, their PCs are FASTER and MORE SECURE. How is this possible? Let me tell you now.

I have found 2 excellent FREE software programs which can be used together to:
1) Boost PC performance
2) Protect a PC from 'Spyware' attacks, a function NOT addressed by anti-virus companies today.
My manuals are the ONLY ones in the world which I have managed to find, that take you STEP-BY-STEP through the process of using these programs.
Objection that I come across: “If the end-user is savvy enough to optimize their own PC, they don’t need your manual, they can figure it out for themselves.”
Not true – I am a computer engineer with 17 years of experience. It took me YEARS of trial and error to find and develop these techniques, and now I want to share them with the world at an amazingly low price.

Computer Hardware Upgrades
It has certainly been proved that computer upgrades are effective in making a PC faster, and more reliable. Also, the cost is lower to upgrade, than to go out and buy a new PC. The main objection that I must overcome here is this: "I can walk into Best Buy today and buy a new computer for $499. I don't need to upgrade" This is NOT exactly true. When you buy the said $499 computer, you will have to shell out more than $499. You will have to spend about $800, THEN start declaring your rebates. This is not as easy as it seems. First of all, you normally have 30 days to declare your rebates. If you don't fill out the rebate slips 100% CORRECTLY and MAIL THEM IN ON TIME....guess what? You LOSE your rebate.
Now.....here's the MAIN reason that upgrading can be BETTER than buying a new computer. When you buy a new computer, what do you have? A blank screen, with no software and most likely a strange environment that you don't even recognize. You have to first go through the hassle of transferring all of your software and files to the new machine, or pay someone to do it. By upgrading, nothing visible changes, except your PC is much faster, and more reliable. Here's the kicker.....people who purchase a new PC are STILL potential customers of mine. They STILL should buy my 'how to' upgrade manuals to secure their PCs from Spyware attacks, and further optimize their operating system, something that Dell does not show them how to do.

Why am I going to win the game?
This is the crux of it, what makes me unique, and what do I have that nobody else does?
My stuff works........period!
The evidence is overwhelming, I have already taken many PCs and upgraded them, with astounding results. My competition falls short because they don't use the full complement of products all at once, they only do a portion of the work. Here's what I do as a core upgrade/optimization.
Software Optimization: Can make the computer 5-20% faster (not always noticeable), and will eradicate Spyware for extra security (discussed later in this document).
Cost: $20
Hardware Optimization: Can make computer 30-80% faster.
Cost: Between $30-$80

A central depot for all things "upgrade"
There is no website ON THE PLANET that provides what my website will provide. I have made an exhaustive scientific study over the past 5 months and can prove scientifically that my suite of manuals and techniques give the best "bang for the buck" in optimizing and securing a given PC. This can only be proved in a live demonstration, if you are an interested investor, feel free to invite me to your office so I can prove myself and my techniques to you!
Marketing Plan
The internet is a wonderful medium for "getting the message out" for new and great ideas. I will be using the following online vehicles to "get the word out"
Google Sponsered ads
Targeted 'opt in' email
Google Search Engine Optimization

The Opportunity
Why do I need investors? Let me make this simple and explain by product
'How to' Computer Manuals (Phase I)
I require an additional $100,000 to fund the building and marketing of the website to sell my user manuals. Here is the breakdown of the money:
$30,000 Website Construction
$15,000 Custom Software for website support
$55,000 Advertising budget for website

Computer Hardware Upgrades (Phase II)
I will require $45,000,000 to launch Phase II (unless Phase I is able to fund Phase II on its own merits). Here is the breakdown of the money:
$7,500,000 Inventory
$25,000,000 Salary for 500 employees (based on 6 months)
$10,000,000 Advertising and marketing
$5,000,000 Property, plant, equipment, insurance
$2,500,000 G & A expenses

Financial Projections of Revenue / Profitability
'How to' Computer Manuals (Phase I)
With today's vast array of internet advertising media, ie Google, AOL, Targeted Email, I should not have a problem 'getting the message out'. Based loosely on download volume of certain programs that I am tracking, I expect the following sales volumes for the next 12 months:
500,000 downloads
Average customer purchase: $10.00USD
Projected Total Revenue: $5,000,000
Projected Cost of Revenue: Approximately $200,000 (cost of website and maintenance)
Projected Net Income: $4,800,000
Computer Hardware Upgrades (Phase II)
Currently the market for NEW PCs is around $100 billion, or 100,000,000 computer sales at $1000 per unit. Dell ALONE do $40 billion per year, so the world-wide numbers are quite impressive. I estimate that our niche market will garner 1% of this market over the first year, which comes out to 1,000,000 units per year. Here are the dollar amounts.
Revenue
1,000,000 units upgraded at $200 per machine
(based on 400 technicians upgrading 10 machines per day)
10 machines x 400 x 250 work days in a year = 1,000,000 machines = $200,000,000
Expenses
Parts: $30,000,000
Salary: $25,000,000
Selling, G&A $45,000,000
Net Income: $100,000,000

My Product Mission Defined
Msconfig (msconfig.exe is the complete name) is a powerful software optimization tool which Microsoft builds directly into Windows. Msconfig is essentially a simple checklist interface, which gives you the ability to select and de-select which programs you’d like to run when the computer starts up. It has been proven that a good percentage of computer slowness, sluggishness, and ‘freeze-ups’ are attributable to an overabundance of programs running when the computer starts up. As you become familiar with msconfig, you will be amazed to see how many programs are running on your computer that you never even knew about, and how much better your computer runs when you decide to shut them off!
Spyware Hunters can detect and remove spyware of different kinds from your computer. Spyware is a relatively new kind of threat that common anti-virus applications do not yet address. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you didn't intentionally install, if your browser crashes, or if your browser start page has changed without your knowing, you most probably have been attacked by spyware. But even if you don't see anything suspicious, you may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging that is silently tracking your surfing behavior to create a marketing profile of you that will be sold to advertisement companies.

Conclusion
Seeing is believing. If you are an interested investor, feel free to invite me to your site, so I may prove my techniques to you before your very eyes. Even if you are a novice computer end-user, the usefulness of my procedures will not fail to impress you.
